How School Communities Can Become More Involved
DMECC aims to bridge communities through volunteerism. We offer & programs and design a Volunteer program unique to each school and surrounding communities. We do this by engaging EVERYONE, from student to government and Corporate partners. Our hope is that we transition many of these functions to the school over time.
Teachers can become involved by supervising:
Weekly After School Clubs
Marketing - Graphics
Computer Donation
Furniture Donation
Fundraising
Computer / IT support
Monthly Activities - computer/furniture distribution
Schools can help by supporting:
Quarterly Preparation and Donation Events
Semi-annual Recruitment Drives
Annual Team Building Gatherings
Parents can contribute by:
Mentoring DMECC Student lead teams
Facilitating corporate/computer/furniture donation
Transporting or acting as event chaperones
